DayZero does not collect, transmit or store any personal data on external servers. Everything you enter — your name, habit, reason, cravings — is saved exclusively on your device.
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, usage data, or any information that could identify you. DayZero works entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to function.
If you use the backup feature, your data is exported as a JSON file to a folder you choose on your device (for example Google Drive on Android). This file is created and managed entirely by you — we never access it.
DayZero is free for everyone, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If you choose to leave an optional tip on Ko-fi, the payment is handled entirely by Ko-fi and PayPal — no financial information is ever shared with DayZero.
DayZero may send local notifications to support your streak. These are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server.
DayZero is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
